About Us
History
Vale Decorators (Liverpool) Limited was established in January 1978 by Roy Sang with a small work force of time-served tradesmen and apprentices. We were incorporated October 1979.
Due to the increasing workload, in 1993 we invested heavily in the complete Design and Build of our own office/warehouse accommodation. This was sufficient for a few short years, when in 1999 we developed the existing facility even further by more than doubling our floor space, again to cope with increasing demand and to ensure sufficient space for further growth.
On 1st July 2009 our company name was changed from Vale decorators (Liverpool) Limited to Vale Decorators UK Limited. We are continually expanding and increasingly obtaining contracts on a national basis and we felt the new name more accurately reflects our position within the painting and decorating industry.
After strategic planning the company has enjoyed a steady and prolonged growth record and now have a large competent workforce of time-served tradesmen and apprentices.
Dulux Trade Contract Partnership

Vale Decorators are an Investors in People accredited company and we invest highly in staff training and continued professional development. We believe in investing in local labour by providing an in-house apprenticeship scheme with both the CITB and Liverpool Community College. This ‘home-grown’ labour approach is beneficial to our local community and helps to maintain a long term relationship with our operatives and in turn increases the quality of our service.
We regularly donate stock to local community colleges, thus contributing to the development of young people in the surrounding area, with a desire to develop, achieve and succeed.
Over the years we have made numerous contributions to local charities. Most notably we donated both labour and stock to the Liverpool Cancer Support Centre at a time when their offices were in need of refurbishment as well as many local schools and nurseries. We make regular donations to Aintree Hospitals NHS Trust and local charities such as Claire House Children's Hospice and to Zoe's Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool.
Any request made to Vale Decorators by any organisation or individual who requires our support for their local ventures will always be considered sympathetically. If we can provide the support they seek, we will do all we can to assist them in their venture.
